Scalability by resources and priorities.

The main field for application of the knowledge-based diagnostic and control system is determined by the company’s resources and priorities. For this task several system configurations can be realized. These configurations can be divided into (1) standalone operator workstation for machine-and-tool process diagnostics and real-time predictive quality control, 2) standalone workstations for tool-and-quality control, (3) network for automated production control and inspection data acquisition, (4) network for integrated control of process and production effectiveness and (5) integrated network for intelligent  control of metalcutting operations achieving top-level production effectiveness.

Using the embedded knowledge of mechanics of machining process, MICRONITE maintains a steady state of dynamic tool-and-quality control. This system’s ability  is critical to any system configuration. A host of techniques has been developed to achieve adaptability of the system to particular type of equipment and difficult-to-control tight-tolerance characteristics.

In this context, MICRONITE established a new approach for improving accuracy of process recognition. Once the methodology of process and quality management is strengthened, control of production effectiveness is activated and kept current. Finally, the cornerstone of MICRONITE’s strategy is established with the involvement of all employees in improving the business performance.
